The four-day training is the second module of the training that aims to capacitate SAAD implementers in assisting the partner-farmers for their community enterprises. The first module, Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship, was conducted from 17-21 of June 2019 in Lumban, Laguna.
Professors Nanette Aquino and Jewel Joanna Cabardo of the Department of Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship (DAME) in the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) shed light on the basics of Marketing.
National and regional participants, who are from the SAAD and Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service and Divisions (AMAS and AMAD), took part in crafting Marketing Plans. A marketing plan is a report that details the marketing strategies of a business.
Ramon Policarpio from AMAD Region IV-B shared his impressions about the event and thanked SAAD for the conducting the said training.
Meanwhile, two more modules about the operational and financial aspects of Entrepreneurial Development are set to be held this September and October 2019. ###
