STA. MARCELA APAYAO—Department of Agriculture (DA) – Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) conducted geotagging and validation of nine (9) rice seeds beneficiaries in Barangay Malekkeg, Sta. Marcela, Apayao on March 7, 2018.

The data collected is essential to the farmers’ profiling stage wherein vital information about beneficiaries such as the project they are involved with, their organization, commodity details, etc. are stored and easily accessed through the Open Data Kit or simply ODK.

SAAD Sta. Marcela Area Coordinator (AC) Ms. Marjorie Africano Tangliben led the said activity together with Mr. Rolly Trinidad and Mr. Efraim Ucol, from Sta. Marcela LGU, who diligently guided them to the sequestered area.
