DUMAGUETE CITY, NEGROS ORIENTAL—Half-a-million worth of check under the 2017 SAAD funds has been handed a to the Dumaguete Treasurer’s Office by the Department of Agriculture (DA) – Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program in Region 7 (Regional Field Office/RFO VII), Negros Oriental on March 7, 2018. This is to support the Urban Organic Gardening Project for eight (8) Poblacion Barangays of Dumaguete City.
Witnesses include SAAD Negros Oriental staff; SAAD NPMO headed by its Operations Cluster Head, Ms. Fe Ybañez; SAAD RPMSO led by its Regional Focal Person, Engr. Eugene C. Cahiles; Provincial Agricultural Technology Coordinating Office (PATCO) represented by the Assistant Agricultural Program Coordinating Officer (APCO) Mr. Virgilio Awayan.
This activity marks the beginning of document preparation in line with the implementation of the SAAD Projects in the province of Negros Oriental.
