NORTH COTABATO — A total of 2,130 heads of Mallard Ducks were given to 30 farmer-partners from barangays Malatab, Kiyaab, luhong, Camutan, Malire, and Malangag in Antipas, North Cotabato on July 19, 2018. The project amounts to P 1.19 million pesos as each farmer-partner received 71 heads of mallard ducks.
The distribution was facilitated by the Provincial Local Government Unit of North Cotabato using the 2016 DA funds. During the event, Mrs. Elvira Mendoza from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG) discussed techniques on the proper care and management of mallard ducks.
Also, there to witness the event were the representatives from SAAD Provincial Program Support Office-North Cotabato, Office of Municipal Agriculturist, Office of Provincial Agriculturist, and barangay officials. ###
