NORTH COTABATO — The Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD)-North Cotabato turned over 10 heads of gilts, ranging 70-75 kilograms each, to the farmer-beneficiaries of Malu-ao Lowland Upland Integrated Farmers Association (MULFA) of Brgy. Malu-ao, Pigcawayan, North Cotabato last February 21, 2018.
The commodities that the association received are intended for their multiplier farm livelihood project. In line with this, SAAD-North Cotabato conducted a social preparation activity for the beneficiaries of MUL FA on the same day, to help ensure the sustainability of the livelihood project given to them.
SAAD staff led by Ricky P. Lagdamin, Area Coordinator, together with Jerry W. Tingson, Provincial Coordinator, facilitated the turn-over ceremony with the cooperation of the Malu-ao Local Government Unit.
The farmer-beneficiaries of MUL FA showed their appreciation for the interventions they received from the SAAD, and to the activeness of Department of Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel “Manny” F. Piñol and Regional Executive Director Engr. Milagros C. Casis. ###
