CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION (CAR), PHILIPPINES — The Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) National Program Management Office (NPMO) led by its Program Director Bernadette F. San Juan (Dir. SJ) along with the SAAD-CAR team continued with the outputs that were brainstormed from the initial planning held in Baguio on January 10-12, 2018.
The separate presentations of Apayao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province were held in these respective provinces starting from January 27 until 31, 2018. The program highlighted these provinces’ ways to meet their 2019 targets realistically.
The NPMO team ensured that a year ahead of plan is already in place especially for the two (2) new CAR Provinces which are Kalinga and Mountain Province.
Delivery and procurement reports to Dir. SJ had been prepared by Apayao, alongside their 2019 activities and budget planning.
The SAAD Program was introduced in CAR through Apayao in 2016 and is now spreading through Kalinga and Mountain Province come year 2019.
