DA Sec. Piñol conducts Byaheng Bukid; SAAD distributes fingerlings in North Cotabato

August 01, 2017| Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Emmanuel “Manny” Piñol welcomes the month of August with his Byaheng Bukid, a program that aims to draw the government closer to the local farmers, at the  Municipal Gym of Libungan in North Cotabato. On the other hand, the DA-Special Area for Agricultural Development Program (SAAD) through its Provincial Coordinator in North Cot, Jerry Tingson, along with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Regional Office 12 Director Usop P. Pendaliday, steered the distribution of 80, 000 Tilapia Fingerlings to the SAAD Beneficiaries in the province. Both events coincides with the celebration of the “KaTamboLit Festival 2017” in the Municipality of Libungan.
