The support interventions were suggested by the groups during a series of meetings and consultations. This is meant to complement the livelihoods of 1,640 farmers involved in projects on corn, coffee, calamansi, mushroom, vegetables, pineapple, banana, native chicken, and layer chicken. The FAs also have a policy to regularly care for and maintain these tools to ensure they work well and last longer.

Charmae F. Antipatia, SAAD Alternate Assistant Focal Person, believes that the support given to beneficiaries will speed up their farming activities, leading to higher yields and more efficient labor, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

The use of these tools and equipment is contributory to the goal of good agricultural practices (GAP) in ensuring food safety, quality produce, environmental protection, and worker welfare. ###
