SAAD farmers in Region 8 joins Kadiwa Fair

QUEZON CITY, November 26, 2020 – Eight farmers’ associations of the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program will sell locally-sourced fresh farm products at the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Kadiwa Fair in Region 8.

The products are available at Level 2, Exhibit Area in Robinson’s North Tacloban in Tacloban City starting Friday (November 27) until Monday (November 30) during mall hours.

The said associations will participate in the said event, selling fresh chicken and duck eggs, salted eggs, sweet corn, sitaw, talong and upo.

The event was organized by the DA Region 8 Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) in partnership with the local government unit.

The Kadiwa is a direct marketing program of the Department of Agriculture to promote the products of the local farmers and to provide access to affordable food products for the consumers. ###
