BAYBAY, LEYTE – Provincial and Area Coordinators as well as Administrative staff of the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program in Regions 6 and 7 attended a Values Formation Workshop held from October 14 to 17, 2019 at the Visayas State University.
Ruby Lauren Manuel, Rechilda dela Cueva, and Shelley Gurrobat, from the Institute for Integrality, Inc., led the four-day event which was organized by the SAAD National Program Management Office (NPMO) to enhance the harmony within the workplace.
The participants reflected on their working experiences in the SAAD Program, including personal mistakes and professional lapses. They were taught about the importance of teamwork, knowledge, and purpose for the success of the program.
A post-activity open forum was conducted where the attendees shared their experiences and testimonials. One participant shared that the willingness to adapt, the continuous communication with co-workers, the acceptance to constructive criticism, and the empathy for others are important for an effective program implementation.
The activity was first of many values formation workshops, which will also be done with the other SAAD implementing regions. ###.
