TAGAYTAY CITY – The Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program national, regional, and provincial staff of the Department of Agriculture (DA) completed the 4th and last module of the Entrepreneurial Development Training at Tagaytay International Convention Center from October 21 to 25, 2019.
The last module is about accounting and financial analysis in business operations.
The SAAD implementers, who participated the Entrepreneurial Development Training, will help the farmer-partners of the program in putting up and managing their community-based enterprises.
Professors Juan Paulino S. Trespalacio, Jr. and Hanna D. Miranda-Quibot, from the University of the Philippines Los Baños – Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship, were the resource speakers.
The regional participants described the training as mind-boggling as the resource speakers gave individual and group tasks, such as solving the production cost, preparing the income statement, and the cost volume profit analysis.
The previous modules were Human Resource Development, Marketing, and Operations.
The training hopes to contribute to the success of the SAAD program. ###
