NEGROS ORIENTAL—Two (2) units of corn mill and four (4) units of multi-cultivator hand tractor (Php 2,000,000.00 worth of agricultural equipment and machineries) were turned-over to Sibulan at the Municipality Multi-Purpose Covered Court, Negros Oriental on 26 October 2018.

Balugo Farmers Association (President: Mr. Teojines Banaybanay) and San Antonio Farmers Association (President: Mr. Ernesto J. Erames) each received one (1) unit of corn mill. On the other hand, three (3) units of multi-cultivator hand tractor was given to Enrique Villanueva United Farmers Association (President Aproniano G. Maquero) and one (1) unit to the San Antonio Farmers Association.

Present to facilitate the distribution are SAAD Negros Oriental Area Coordinator (AC) Ms. Marcelina Cabonelas together with Sibulan Local Government Unit (LGU) staff headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Jose A. Abiera and Municipal Agricultural Officer (MAO) Mr. Godfrey D. Grefaldia.

Actual demonstration in using the multi-cultivator hand tractor in the area of SAAD beneficiaries is to be scheduled, while the corn mill shed house is still under an on-going construction. ###
