SAAD Maguindanao conducts distribution for Native Chicken Project

Maguindanao —   The Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) – Maguindanao conducted distribution of interventions for the Native Chicken at Barangay Poblacion, Paglat; Barangay Lower Dilag, Pandag; Barangay Talitay, Buluan; Barangay Kaya-kaya, Datu Abdullah Sangki; Barangay Kitango, Datu Saudi Ampatuan; Barangay Nekitan, Datu Odin Sinsuat; Barangay Romongaob, South Upi; and Barangay Kiga, North Upi in Maguindanao on July 27 to August 1, 2018.

The Native Chicken project is under the SAAD 2017 fund, wherein each of the 8 barangays (at 25 farmer-partners each) received a total ₱ 269,200.00 worth of interventions.  Overall, two hundred (200) farmer-partners received 12 heads of native chicken each composed of 2 males and 10 females, together with the inputs of Feeds, Drugs & Biologics, Sweatshirts, and Hats.

The distribution was made in cooperation with Barangay staff and officials, Municipal Agriculturist Office, Agricultural Technician, Office of Provincial Agriculturist and Office of Provincial Agricultural Veterinary. ###
