SIQUIJOR, PHILIPPINES—The Department of Agriculture (DA) – Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) convened to discuss its status of implementation in the Province of Siquijor at OPA Conference Hall, Helen, Larena, Siquijor on June 14, 2018.
CY 2019 SAAD projects for Siquijor were reported and discussed in the activity attended by SAAD-Siquijor staff, SAAD-Regional Program Management Support Office (RPMSO) headed by Engr. Eugene C. Cahiles, DA-Provincial Agricultural Technology Coordinating Office (PATCO) in Siquijor headed by Ms. Bernadith S. Bunado (ACC-II), Office of the Provincial Agriculture, agricultural extension workers from Provincial Veterinary Office, and officials and staff from the Provincial and Municipal Agriculture Offices.
The Corn-Peanut Production Project Proposal was also presented by Mr. Edgar Anhao.
SAAD-Siquijor team has been consistent with the profiling, geotagging, and distribution of farm inputs to farmer-partners for 2018 SAAD Program and continues to conduct the remaining trainings as scheduled.
